Vegas is a good option. There is fabulous shopping, cheap hotels, the temple, and tons of other things you can do off the strip. Check out http://www.vegas.com/ for cheap hotel deals. I have a couple of friends who live in that area so if you need more ideas of place off the strip email me.
Zion National Park is close and VERY pretty in the spring/summer. You can float down the river, stay in a cute little cabin, hike, ride bikes, see wildlife and animals and it would be PRETTY pictures.
OR
St. George is another option. Close but warmer than Provo. There's a temple, Dixie College sites, fun hiking, repelling, red rock climbing, etc. They also have Strawberry Reservoir which is sort of like going to a lake. I think it's still open to the public. They have a few nice hotels off the "strip" and GOOD food.
Hey girl! Sorry I have never called you back or anything...I've really been outta the loop! But thanks for the support! So for a vaca I might suggest Park City. Its really close and Kiel and I went the week before I was due and we got a hotel for like 60 bucks and it was really nice with a pool, free breakfast and everything! They also have the shops, food, the outlet stores, ski lift and other activities that cost a little extra. I hope you guys get to do something fun!!
We got married August 25, 2006 in the Los Angeles Temple and we are so loving it!:). We are so happy!! Kevin is going to BYU and is in the Machanical Engineering program. We love just hanging out up here but miss the beach. Indee Rae made her appearance on July 23rd and we cannot get enough of her! She is sooo fun!!!
