Our spur of the moment splurge:)

Our newestspur of the moment buy. We were shopping at Wal-Mart and then we started hiding and throwing balls at eachother. Then we walked past these!! Soo.... ... We played a little bit and have welts to prove it but it didnt photograph very well.

We cant wait to play and have fun!!!

My parents came to visit!

My parents came up to visit. We had lots of fun! We went out to eat lots which was way fun!

They were originally coming up to take us snowboarding but I ended up having work and Kevin
still has to wait till next winter due to his knee surgery!

We went to the open house of the Draper Temple!! It was soo pretty!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day was fun and we were keeping it simple, meaning NO gifts!! So I just got Kevin a bouquet of donuts! (He was complaining that guys never get boquets of flowers so instead of flowers I gave him a boquet of Krispy Cream donuts)

But when I got back this was sitting on our table! Kevin was like " Did Santa come?", cuz he knew he was in trouble! In the box were these...Kevin doesn't like that I wear my sandals in the snow and ice cuz I am always falling!

After we went to Tacano's. It's a great all you can eat Brazillion Resturaunt.The servers come around with meat (filet mignon, shrimp, all kinds of steaks, chicken, grilled pineapple, etc.) and then they cut off peices at your table!!

Strongly recommend it!

Then we went to Rock Canyon cuz I heard there was sledding there but it turns out there was nowhere to sled:(

It didnt work out to well. We had a fun Valentine's day!

Stressed

Okay so this is definately a venting post!! :) Okay so working 52- 60 hours a week is so not fun!! i have no time to cook, clean, or workout! And kevin has it even worse! He leaves to school at 7am and comes home between 11- 430 am!! thats right 430!!!! the other day he had a homework assignment that was due and it took foreverhe started the assignment at noon and didnt get home till 430!! He was stuck at school doing it!! And the sad thing is ... When i went to visit him at 1230am he was the furthest one done in that whole lab!!! This major is soo intense!!! But he did finish so thats a plus! Its just so hard never seeing him!! i am going a little nuts!! lol.. But I know prayers are answered and I just need to have a little more faith! But i saw a great talk on byu tv today... It was Elder Holland and he was saying how hard it was for him and his wife and how they had no money and wanted to go home all the time because it was so hard to make it work (amen to that). He just gave great words of encouragement!! That talk was definately made for me!!! :) If anyone wants to hear the talk go to http://speeches.byu.edu/?act=viewitem&id=1819&tid=2 . I just have to remember how blessed we are to have Kevin attend this amazing school!!

BYU vs SDSU

So we went to see my little sister's boyfriend's basketball team (SDSU) play BYU.

He is the one in the middle with black sleeves with a white middle and a mowhawk:)

We got amazing seats. Front row and almost center! Guess who we saw?
Elder Nelson and...
Elder Oaks!!!They walked right in front of us!!! Like literally less than a foot away from us!

So of course we shoved our hands in front of them and made them shake our hands!

They are so nice! Truely men of God!

We all had a ton of fun!! Kevin is behind the camera:)

Build A Bear

We went to Build A Bear Workshop for a date!! I told Kevin if I got my new job then I wanted to go! I got the job so here we are!!

Kevin loved the Highschool Musical outfits. Actually he really didnt!!
Here we are getting his birth certificate!! haha!

Kevin picked out the name! With his name choosing skills he will never choose our children's names. lol It was so fun and I am so grateful for Kevin and him putting up with these "fun" dates!!!

Keeping In Touch

So I have two jobs and am busy working 53 hours a week now. But I am so excited cuz now we can pay for Kevin's school!! Kevin is starting another semester and focusing on getting into the engineering college! We are having fun but it is soo freezing and the roads are so icy. But the snow is beautiful!! We hope everyone at home is doing great. We love you all and miss you.

Best Christmas!!

This was the best Christmas because we got to see Kirsten and Torben!! I have missed them soooo much but it is great that they are with their parents:)!! We are soo excited that they are doing so good!! Kirsten couldn't stop talking and I loved it!.. telling me how well she is doing at school and about all her friends. Torben was soo funny... when we walked in he stopped with a huge smile and said " Whoa, How did you get here?" They are soo cute and I am so grateful for the oppurtunity that Kevin and I had to have them in our home. They taught us so much and we love them!! And it was great cuz we got to see the rest of our family of course!! :)

My Belated Birthday

So we celebrated my birthday today cuz Kevin was busy during the week with school!!! I woke up and he made me an ommelette and orange juice!!! Yummy.... then it was followed with shopping...

When we came home we grabbed bread and headed to one of my favorite places.... Isnt it gorgeous in the winter?

I'm almost positive the ducks dont get fed as much when its cold... They have never surrounded me soo much... They were squeezing through my legs and trying to eat my scarf... I dropped one of my gloves and a duck picked it up and started running... I had to chase after it.. Luckily it dropped it before it went back into the pond... HAHA.. I don't know why I love feeding them so much!! Im a nerd!!
They thought I still had food and followed me.
After we made sushi together.. well kind of sushi... it was cooked cuz im not a pro and I didnt want to get sick... Kevin made a rice bowl cuz he hates the seaweed taste:)
It's not as pretty as the pros but it tasted so yummy. I made too much and couldn't eat it all :)
My husband is the best husband ever and I am so grateful for him and how hard he works!!Thanks Kevin for the most fun Birthday!!

So I may have over decorated??

So Christmas is my favortie Holiday!! I love it!!! And so I decorated.... and alot!! (Well considering the size of the apt.) I even have more boxes full of stuff:)

So here was the last of our cups. Sadly we have destroyed them all... We now have a couple mugs and when we have people over for hot chocolate we ask them to bring their own mugs. HAHA Are we cheap or what? We have been trying to not buy any but I think the time has come!!

Can you believe amber (on the right) is due any day??? She is soo small!! She's my inspiration when I get pregnant( not any time soon:)) So Kevin had to be at school from 6am-930 pm on my cumpleanos so that he could study and get projects done, sooooo.... My friends(gretchen and amber) and I ate pumkin pancakes that were soo yummy and then went to see Bolt . It was 3-D!! I strongly recomend it!! and soo much fun!!! I am soo gratefull for friends like them... They are soo nice soo gretchen treated me to the movie... soo nice and then amber's cousin, who is a professional massage therapist, brought the table over to my apt. and gave me such a nice massage... What great friends!! Dont you think?

PS. I get 2 bdays cuz Kevin has planned for us to do something together this weekend!! :)

Thanksgiving Break!!

So, I tend to get a little excited about this ice cream and i poked a hole through the cone!!! Kevin couldn't stop laughing The next day we went bowling and I soo lost!!

Thanksgiving day we went to my cousin's house and her husband took Kevin out on the Razor. It was nuts. There were times when the wheels were in the air!! lol.. Kevin admits it was a little scary!!

Then we went shopping on Black Friday. Kevin got this cool bike!! lol.. A lady was laughing at him cuz he was riding the bike around the store with all of this stuff on!!

He did not get this!! But he did see some Harley's he liked. Maybe later.. lol!

Then my little sister took our pictures... she wants to expand her portfolio!!
