Indee lately

Indee is now 9 months old and it's sooo crazy to me.. she has grown soooo fast!!!
Here she is lately....

Indee's first pony tail. Kevin and i couldnt stop laughing. She is soo stinkin cute!

She LOVES her bath time and usually cries when we take her out. But she loves to bend down and drink the water. This is what happened when she had a bubble bath:)



This picture makes me laugh. This was her opening her Valentine's day present. I think this look looks like a "this is all I got?" look. haha

Indee's first time on a Harley (children's size). We went on a family date to the Harley store. Kevin got to look at all of his future bikes;)

Indee's toy.. it was new at the time! She loves it.. it sings and lights up. It also allows her to walk all over the apt!

Indee stands up on EVERYTHING. Climbs all over everything and crawls everywhere:)She is doing so well and is sooooooooooo close to walking on her own. All she needs is a little confidence:)

She also feeds herself but is such a picky eater. She went on a 3 week no solids strike and then I finally figured out that she likes sweet potato fries. So I cut everything to look like fries (apples/ sweet potatoes/ squash) It totally works for her. But she will not let us feed her. She is to grown up for that.. lol She now eats everything... We gave her peanut butter already and she did fine. I did it right before her nap and checked on her like every 5 minutes lol.. but she did fine and she loves it! She also LOVES string cheese... I will try to mix the string cheese in with new foods but she knows how to pick around. she will eat only the string cheese and everything will still be on her plate:)

She hasnt been sleeping so well. But I think its due to teething. she is getting all four of her teeth on top at once! And they are coming in sooooooooooooo slow!!! But I am hoping she will be a better sleeper when her teeth get a little better.

Eliza is just a week older than Indee... Indee loved hanging out with her!!!


Indee LOVES outside. Whenever the door is open she jets for it! The only thing that is stinky about outside are there are these little woodchips made out of tires that she loves to "taste" and there are these small little bouncy balls that are such a choking hazard!!! So I have to be VERY careful!

She is soo funny on the slide. I will put her at the top and she will scoot till she slides down!!


She now waves hi and good bye whenever we say the words:)
Her carseat is now turned around and she LOVES it.
She talks and sings alllllll the time

She is amazing and of course I think she is the best baby... but i am biased:) She loves me and her daddy and it makes us soo happy. Just last night we were reading scriptures and about to say prayers when Kev said" I think I am just gunna stay like this for a little bit" Indee came up and cuddled up with him:) When he walks through the door she starts jumping up and down!!:)We love her sooooooooooooooooooooooooo much!!!

I am so grateful for my life!

I am beyond grateful to my Heavenly Father for my life and all that I have been blessed with!!

To the world's standards we may not have alot but to me we have EVERYTHING!!!




Kevin and Indee mean EVERYTHING to me and I am so grateful that I can be with them forever. I am so grateful that our Father in Heaven loves me so much that He would allow me to one day have all that he has- a Forever family!! :)

Family

While Robin was here a few months ago she had us take a picture of us on campus so that Indee could look back and see where her daddy went to school. Thank you Robin... Im glad that we have this to show her:)



While Grandma was here she took a picture of Indee's poor face... whenever she went down to sleep she woke up with new scratches on her face...

Indee and Halli

Indee has a good friend that she LOVES to play with!!! SHe always has soo much fun and Halli is soooo great to let Indee climb all over her. Sadly she is moving!!!! WE are going to miss her and her wonderful family!!!

Books...

So Indee and I go to the library almost every week and we have soooo much fun! I read a book to Indee before she goes to bed(naps/ night time) so I have to make sure that we have a variety of books. I dont want to always read the same ones. But I hope that by me reading she will grow up to enjoy reading as much as I do. And when she is older I will do what my mom did... read us chapter books. I loved that time and couldnt wait to snuggle into bed so that I could hear her read!! I hope Indee will like it just as much

But WHile I am at the library I come across some funny books that I bring home to read to Kevin and umm Indee too... Am I a bad parent? lol

Indee lately

Indee is still as happy as ever. She is soooooooooooo social... always smiling and jibberjabbing to everyone. When she sees other kids she gets sooo excited and wants to grab them. It freaks other parents out and some thinks she is being naughty but she isnt... lol.. she just LOVES your kids! She is crawling all of the place and pulls herself up to her knees... Kevin and our friend Bruce saw her pull herself up to her feet for the first time... Im glad that at least Kevin was able to see it:) She likes to walk along things and will now go from walking along one thing to switching herself over to another. I thought that if she could crawl she would be content but now she just wants to hold onto my fingers so that she can walk everywhere... lol... She loves dirt!! If I put her in the sandbox and turn my head for one second and turn back she has dirt all over her mouth!! YUP!! she loves to eat dirt! When we go to the store and she sees other kids she starts laughing and jumping up and down in excitement! haha.. She will be help by anyone as lon as Im not around. If she sees me shell start whining a little bit and reach for me!! But I am soooooo grateful for how social she is because it allows me to take her to the kids club at the gym!!:)

She has decided that her blankies are going to be her aden+anais blankets that her Aunt Michelle got her! She loves them!!!! I thiknk its so funny because we never encouraged it but because I love them soo much she has always slept with them since birth!! She wont even let me take her out of her crib unless she is holding onto one of the aden+anais blankies! She will crawl all over the house holding onto it:)

About a week ago she was crying at nap time and would not stop so finally I went into her room and she was sitting up..lol ... I couldnt stop laughing because it totally took me off gaurd. So I just laid her back down. But now as soon as we put her in her crib she sits right up. For the first few days she would fall asleep sitting up... and then just collapse over... we have cute pics thatll ill post when I get to a working comp! But now she has figured out that she can lay down and sleep.

She is soooooooooo much more cuddly and loves to cuddle with us. Just last night I was sooo tired and it was just me and her. I had on the tv and I was laying down while she played by me with her toys. She crawled over and climbed up on me then laid her head on my chest!! but everytime she was about to go to sleep she would lift up her head:) and if I lay her blankie over my shoulder she will rest on it! lol.. I kinda have to trick her I guess:)

She loves walks .. we walk up by the temple often and I love talking to her about how beautiful it is! Lately we have been walking with other moms in the quad and she loves it because she gets to be around kids.

She has cut her top fang!!! Just one!! so now she has her two bottom and one on top:) She loves to get them brushed and after a few seconds of brushing she will sit there and suck off the tinsy bit of tooth paste that I have on it!

She went about three weeks without eating solids. I dont know why but she just would not eat. She definately wouldnt let me feed her... so I tried seeing if she would feed herself baby food... she wouldnt do that either... So I would put things on her tray and she wouldnt eat that either... finally while we had frineds over i offered her a sweet potato fry and she LOVED it! WEll I dont want her eating junk so I went and bought sweet pot and cut and cooked them to look like a fry and it worked... she ate it... Now I have tried that with apples and she loves that too... I also give her wheat bread and gold fish now.. she has tried a blueberry as well! I think we are starting something good here.. lol.. she had me worried for a bit!!

She now weighs 19.1 lbs and is in 6-9 mos clothing. We just switched her to size three diapers but she is in a size three shoe!!!! Isnt that nuts? lol... I think shell be like me... grow tall and then stop... I have been this tall since sixth grade with a size 7 foot since 6th grade... people used to call me "jolly green giant" lol (now I can laugh about it)- but I have a feeling that Indee will be the same!

Indee LOVES babies... She will smile so big when I hand her a doll and when She sees a real baby and cant get enough... My good friend Jessica will let Indee touch her baby and practice being soft!! Thanks Jess!! Indee loves you guys!!


I could go on FOREVER just talking about all that she is achieving but I need to go for now!!! We love Indee soooooooo much and our love for her continues to grow!

Temples

Lately I have gotten a whole new perspective for temples!! And I am sooo grateful!
My bishop encouraged every family to have a name ready to take through the temple by a certain date so that the ward can all go together and take through the name. I so put the task off until very last minute! But about 2 weeks before the set date to take the name through I decided that I would try to figure it out. I am starting with my mom's side because there is alot of work to do. But with Perez as a last name and not knowing what part of Mexico we originate from made it sooo difficult. But I called my mom and she gave me the names that she already had and with the new.familysearch.org webpage as I put names in they started to connect with names that were already put into the system by AMAZING volunteer indexers! I was able to find a family that had eight children to bring through. When I reserved their names so much emotion came over me that I totally wasnt expecting! And now I have found their parents information and will be bringing their parents through the temple as well. I am soooooooo excited for this family to be sealed together!!!

I am sooooooooooooooooooo grateful for the temples that Heavenly Father has allowed us to have. I love the unity that it brings to our family and friends and the happiness that it offers to all!

I am grateful for the temple because it has allowed me to be sealed for time and eternity to this sexy hunk...

And I am sooo excited for the people who have come before me, who have given me what I have today to be able to go through.

Thank you to all those who sooo generously take a name for me through the temple so that we can get this rolling...:)

Oh how I wish our computer was working!!!

I would totally upload pictures and videos but thats right INDEE IS CRAWLING!!! YAY!!! Its soo fun to see her get around!! She is such a cutie!!! Sorry for the no pic post again!!!


PS! Im kinda really excited.. Kevin has decided against doing an internship during the spring/summer... which means that hopefully we will get to go to the river with my family and then spend the rest of the summer having more fun with eachother. Granted he will still be going to school and working but his load right now seems like it will (cross my fingers) be lighter!!! Dinners outside in the sun here we come:)

Kevin- is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo busy but still an amzing husband and dad! He is still working very hard and going to school!

Me- umm im still me!! lol

Now to the part that the grandparents want:

Indee- She is still super cute and growing like a weed! She is now in 6 month clothes and 9 month sleeper PJS! She is still in a size 2 diaper and probably will be for another Costco box of diapers:) So she still is pretty skinny! She has her first two teeth on the botton and I think she is getting her fangs! That should be pretty funny! She says: "uh oh", "mama", "baba", and "dada" but I dont think she knows what they mean:) She can get on all fours and rocks back and forth. Her hands will move forward but her legs dont which results in a flop onto her tummy:) She loves everyone else's toys but has a hard time sticking to hers:) One day outside she was next to a baby her age and they kept taking the toys from eachother and making eachother pretty upset. It was pretty funny. She still LOVES to read and LOVES kids. She will just see a kid and start laughing and smiling! She sleeps from 7pm til about 5-530ish am. I cant complain but would love it if she slept til 6.. at least:) lol She did have RSV/Bronchitis/ croupe all at once and has had croupe 3 times since she has been born. The dr thinks she has asthma and does have a breathing treatment for when its needing. We were soooo hoping that she wouldnt get asthma but it seems like both sides of her parents family has it pretty severe so I guess she was bound. Stinky! M aybe she'll grow outta it?!!?! She loves her bed and will cry for it! She still wont sleep in our arms! Which is bitter sweet:) But we will lay her down in her bed and she will close her eyes soooo tight before I even get a blanket over her. She loves to sleep with her face covered (scary at first- now I just remove it after a couple of minutes) and will sleep on her tummy about half the time! She doesnt cry when she wakes up... she will just talk until we come to get her!! She loves Jewelry.. especially my earrings(while they are still in my ears)! She is such a happy baby.. even when she is sick! This last time I took her to the dr she had the flu and croupe and was all giggles.. the nurse asked "Is she always this happy when she is soo sick?" the answer- "YES" but shes even more happy when shes not!! She is starting to cuddle more and will now lay her head on my shoulder which is HEAVEN!!! I absolutely love it!! :) I love being her mom!! She is the cutest and I already cant wait to have more:)

KIT with our family!!

Kevin- Is now applying to Internships which is wayyyyy exciting because it is one step closer to being done with school!! He had two interviews today to REALLY great companies!! He even applied to one in NEtherlands!! WHAT?? lol... wouldnt that be fun? So he is soooooo busy with that on top of his huge school load and work! He is now on a intermural basketball which he really likes. He has never played on a league but is really good. It was funny, I couldnt go to one game because Indee was soooo sick and he came home saying that one of the guys on his team kept yelling for him to do something and was even getting mad with him. Kevin didnt know what the term meant. He said that he was gunna ask the team before the next game:) He makes me smile!! He is such a great dad and makes sure that he comes home for family and couple scripture and prayer before Indee goes down for bed and then gets right back to school for another few hours! He truly is amazing and I am sooo grateful for a husband who keeps Heavenly Father and his family his main priorities!

Missa- I have been on an organizing craze! I have gone through and reorganized everything! I kept accumulating more crafts and such so I needed to better organize them! I hate having clutter or mess so it is nice to have that stuff out of the way! beyond that I am not doing much- I clean and do crafts in my spare time. but I try to give Indee alot of attention so that we can play and have fun together!!

Indee- She is now going to the gym day care while I work out!! It has been amazing!!! I can take her 2 hours a day, except for sunday. I drop her off and go workout! I love it because I am right there. I can check in on her when I want and if she is fussy they will find me- Which I really like because then i dont have to worry about if she is having a hard time in there! Some days i will just take her and stretch a little bit. Its really nice to just have some me time sometimes even though She and Kevin are always on my mind:)

I love Indee!

Indee gave us a scare!! She got sick for the first time! She went to bed perfectly healthy and then woke up struggling to breath but not caughing at all! We rushed her to the ER and they rushed her right back (mostly cause there was a crying mother- Me!). The dr came in and diagnosed her with croupe. They gave her steroids and sent her home:) But the next few days she had a HIGH fever of 103 with tylenol! So we brought her back to the drs and they said she just had a viral infection with a bad sore throat!! She couldnt sleep- One night Kevin stayed up the whole night with her (Kevin gladly volunteers because I dont do very well on no sleep- He is amazing). We also had to force feed her with a syringe! that was not fun and sooooooo sad!! She would cough and then cry because it hurt her so bad- she would just look at me like i was causing the pain.. I cried lots for her!! It was the saddest thing!!! I am tearing up just thinking about what it was like!!

Indee really has helped me to realize the love that our Father in heaven has for each one of us and especially His love for me! There is nothing that indee could ever do to make it so that I wouldn't love her. As she learns and grows I love her more and more! And our Father in Heaven's love is greater than ours!! HE must REALLY love us!! So remember that you are a daughter (or son) of God and that there is nothing that you can do to make it so that our Father in Heaven wouldnt love you! He does and always will!!

Indee is 6 months!!!

Indee is 6 months and has been for the past couple of weeks!! She is sooooooooooo fun!!! She talks all of the time and has the cutest smile!! When she smiles she scrintches up her nose and pushes her gums together!! I love it!! My favorite that she has been doing is putting her cheek next to mine and her hand on my other cheek!! It melts my heart every time! She has soooooo much personality! She loves playing pick a boo and laughs if you can give her a good "boo." The more she jumps, the bigger the laugh! Her daddy works hard at school but when he gets home she is all smiles. She loves her daddy sooo much!!

One thing thats not so fun but kinda funny- She will not swallow anything that she doesnt like. We gave her some food and she gagged until she threw up so that she wouldnt have to swallow it! Oh man!! We already have a picky eater on our hands!

At 5 months and 26 days Indee weighs 14.9 lbs (31%), is 26.5 inches (80%), and her head is 16.75 inches (56.07). She now sits up really well, eats cereal/meats/fruits/vegies/ and rice puffs, talks/grunts, takes a few steps while holding onto fingers, can feed herself rice puffs (but still is working on perfecting it), eats her toes,has found her right earring, cries for her crib and closes her eyes before the blanket is even over her, is between a size 1-2 diaper, is a size 3-6 months in clothes but 6 mos in pjs and probably 12 months in socks :) She doesnt like fruits (or anything sweet) very much but I have gotten her to eat applesauce mixed with cereal. She loves to open and close her gums pushing them together and pulling them apart! She loves the mirror and when she is cranky I can turn on primary songs and she will calm down. She loves reading The book of mormon stories (She will sit there for 15 minutes just listening and not trying to grab the pages or anything!) She also likes to hear me read her the Book of Mormon while she plays in the bath. Seriously.. can she be any more perfect!! Every day we love her even more and we are continually grateful to our Father in Heaven for knowing us soooo well that he would choose us to send her to! He knew that we needed her to help us to be more like Him!

Indee's First...

So we went to the dr.s because Indee had a broken blood vessel in her eyeball. I had the dr look at one of her earrings that looked infected. He said that she was allergic to the gold plated earrings and needed real gold earrings. I asked him where we should get them? and he said a jewelry store. So we went to the mall and jewelry sales people were bringing out lilke 5th carat diamonds and I told them no way!! My daughter is not having nicer earrings then I have ever had! lol.. so we went to Zales and they had gold earrings. But I think that its soo funny that we had to go to Zales to get her something:)

Can you Flambé meat? We can!!

So I was giving indee a bath and Kevin was getting the dinner together when the fire alarm went off. So I didnt think much of it and got Indee dressed. When I came out I asked what had happened and then looked at the oven. This is what I saw...

lol.. He said that he put pulled out the meat and there were high flames so he threw it back into the oven. If it didnt go out then he was gunna get the fire extinguisher.. haha

now when he cookes I ask if we are gunna have flambéd meat... He doesnt think thats as funny as I do:)

Indee's room

So we came back from staying in nice- real houses the whole vacation and I was kinda bummed to be back in our cinder block wall apt. I asked Kevin if we could move and then right after I said" well maybe Ill just decorate" So he told me to try that first:)

Im proud of how it turned out. I mean its hard to decorate our cinderblock palace but with what I had to work with, I like it. Everything was centered around a blanket that my sister n law, Char, made.

Christmas break

For Christmas break we went to CAlifornia to visit family! But we had sooo much fun that we forgot to take pictures

Kevin rode Ryan's Harley! He loved it! We have this thing where I wont let him get a bike unless he has a full head helmet but he just wants a nutshell helmet. So after spending time on the comp with the guys, looking at pictures of bikes he comes to me and says in the sweetest voice "Do you care if I ride Ryan's bike?" and then holds up the helmet.. lol Needless to say that he totally loved it and cant wait for the day that we can afford a harley!

Indee's First...

Indee's first time swimming. We went up to park City to spend time with Kevin's family and their hotel had a pool. So we took Indee. She loved it and was instantly relaxed when she touched the water!!
Indee's first time at the beach (Huntington Beach) Indee's first time at Disneyland and she loved it.. She loved the crowds of people and all of the colors:) Indee's first plane ride... lol.. bur it was 4am- we both are very tired~:) Indee on the plane!! She did so well. She slept to California and on the way back Indee's first Christmas. She got books:) but loved the wrapping most:) Indee's first time sitting for an extended time:)She has been doing this for a couple of months:) We didnt get a picture of Indee but this was the first time that Indee went to work at Monarch with her dad!:)

A calender for the grandparents of Indee's handprints! I will never suggest that anyone do this with a small baby.. she was not cooperative and for every one good handprint we literally had to do 50. But I love how it turned out:)

A on the go car mat. There are spots where you can stick cars..



We also did candy apples, marshmellow guns and yea... It was soooo much work and unfortunatley because of all the work I think this next Christmas will all be store bought presents:)
