Yup! Indee now eats from a spoon. I know she is a week early of four months, but my mom started me on rice cereal at two months and I turned out just fine... Well at least I think so.. lol! She LOVES it... She hated the rice cereal in the bottle but with a spoon, she thinks its amazing! She does really well too! She doesnt spit too much out! I try giving her some water from a bottle and she hates it! So I have to syringe it into her mouth! Maybe I should try a sippy! I can't feed her fast enough!
I dont know why these are showing up side ways because they shouldnt be, but we got Indee's pictures done!! I LOVE them!!!... So my cousin hires someone to babysit her kids a few hours out of the week so that she can run errands... She was so nice to ask me to do the job before putting out an ad! It has been sooooo much fun!!! Here are her beautiful kids... They love holding Indee. They are such good cousins to her!! Indee loves playing with them! Indee's sweet face... She loves to suck these two fingers. And I think she is a lefty because she favors her left hand, but it might be too soon to tell She is doing sooo much better at holding her toys! She has been trying soooo hard to be able to hold onto things! So lately it has been kinda like this in Utah... And because of it, Indee looked like this at Daddy's game... We couldnt stop laughing when we put her in it! But at least she was warm!

KIT with our family!!

We are having soooo much fun here with our little family!!! It really seems like life is sooo perfect and it really is! We are at a great school, Kevin has a great job that will be great to put on resumes, we live in a good apt, in an awesome ward, we have a TWO bedroom, friends, food in the fridge, drs when we need them, a warm bed, knowledge of our Heavenly Father's plan, a temple 100 yards away and eachother! I am sooooo grateful to our Heavenly Father for giving me this great life. Its funny how life works... we are definately the most poor we have ever been but, seriously, the most happy.

Kevin and I have decided to study the word Love in the scriptures every day. And Love turned into learning about Love through the Atonement! It really is amazing! Heavenly Father really did think of every detail in his plan for us!! What an amazing Father to give us a chance to return to Him. I dont think I understood His love for us as much as I do now that I have a baby. I cant imagine how he felt sending His Son to die for us. I am so grateful for our brother, Jesus Christ; for making it so that I can be sealed to my family forever and for giving me that chance to live with all of our family again!! :) How can life not be great?! :)

Indee is doing soooo well... she loves rolling! She rolls continuously but mostly from her back to tummy! She is still in 0-3 mos clothes. She is super skinny and can still where newborn but she is super long and can fit into 3-6 months for length! So she basically swims in everything she wears:) She has now decided to eat about every 2 hours, which we are working on:) She only goes number 2 every few days, but when she goes SHE GOES. It gets all over her clothes but thanks to SHOUT we do not have stains!!! She loves standing ALL the time. You can just tell how bad she hates being confined and how much she wants to be mobile! She talks soooo much more. In the car we listen to primary songs and she coos the whole time. I would like to think she is singing:) She is very sensitive. When i watch shows where someone is even fighting shell cry. When she hears others cry, she gets soo sad and cries. She just wants everyone to be happy:)

Kevin witnessed a weird thing happen at school the other day. So Kevin stays pretty late on campus to study. (sometimes he comes home to study but it will take him triple the time because I am always talking to him..lol) Anyways, He was studying and someone was trying to get into one of the professor's office. So another professor that Kevin knows asked the guy if he needed help. THe guy told the profeesor that he needed a study guide that a prof was leaving. So the Professor went into the room where the offices were to look for a study guide and the guy that needed the study guide disappered. So the prof comes out and asks Kevin if he saw him. Kev said "no" and so the prof went to look. He found that the guy had taped the door so that it couldnt lock. The professor came out and told Kev what happened and then told the guy to leave. Kev said the professor left too and literally ten minutes later that guy was back. He was waiting by the door and as soon as someone came out of it he quickly caught the door to go in. Kevin didnt want to deal with it and so he just called campus police and Kev left to come home. He talked to the prof the next day and the prof told him that when the police came that guy was in the professor's office! This guy was seriously asking to be kicked out of BYU. We dont know what happened after that but soooooo weird!!! lol... who does that!??! The profeesor told Kevin that the guy should at least get in trouble for trying to break in soo stupidly.lol

But Kevin is doing good. He has playoffs for football and we hope his team goes all the way:) Intermurals at BYU is a huge thing. Kevin and I think its funny how serious people are about it.Kevin finally got new jeans!! lol.. He's needed them but I am told that ever since he got back from Ecuador he has not wanted to spend money:) But before Ecuador he spent tons on clothes:) He would just always ask me to fix any holes he had. But Im glad he finally got himself some clothes:)

I was busy moving!!! it was so nice though. So many people helped by babysitting and one girl (who works, goes to school, and has a two year old) came over to help. She moved my whole closet (shoes, jeans, hangers), which if youve seen my closet thats a task in itself! and she moved all my books!!! Seriously it helped SOOOOOO much!!!! But it was sooooo nice having babysitters... I would drop her off and whenever she needed to eat Id take her, feed her, and bring her back!! Thank you to EVERYONE who helped!!! Seriously I couldn't have done it without my ward!! But now everything is situated and organized. OH it feels soooo good:) I am trying to work on presents... now I have to have them done even sooner than I thought because we are flying home... so now I need to ship them home in time for Christmas! But this next week.. thats all that I might do:) I am still getting to go to the gym which is sooo nice of Kevin!!

We are just having fun here!! We are sooo excited to have family come up around Thanksgiving!!! We seriously cant wait!! And its gunna be sooo weird to go to Christmas parties this year with a baby:) But I am sooooo excited to go home and be with family!! Seriously, SOOOO Excited!!!

Play time

Indee got a new toy!! And she seems to like it... she is still a little small for it so we use blankets to keep her upright! :) But we got this because she ALWAYS wants to be standing! She might be getting a little too mature for this toy. Everytime we put her under it she ends up not under it and like this: So I put her back under her toy nd literally a minute later she was like this: Indee hates being on her stomach but everytime we put her down she is immediatly on her stomach. She will complain a little bit and so we will help her roll back onto her back. Its weird, she used to always roll from her tummy to her back but since she has been rolling from her back to her tummy she hasnt gone from her tummy to her back very often. She does do it but its like she doesnt get that she can do it every time or something. lol So here is a video of this...

Halloween

So I took Indee to BYU to a little Halloween activity! It was really fun... they had lots of games, candy, and jump houses! AND it was all free! Soo Fun!!

Kevin was able to take a small break and come meet us!!!

We also went with these two cuties!!! Theyve become our best buds!!

So the kid's wanted me to go down the slide.. I felt really weird cuz I was the only adult! lol... so I tried getting them to want Kevin to go with them but they wanted me.. so I set my pride aside and went down!! :) It was fun... Kevin tried to capture us going down but the camera missed it:) So after we got down he told me to make a sad face!! lol.. WHy? I have no idea!!


Indee's mermaid costume....


So It has been pretty chilly here lately and on halloween night it was POURING!!! So we decided to nix the mermaid outfit and put her in the bear outfit so that shed stay warmer and yes we took her trick or treating:) Dont worry, we will save the candy for her when shes old enough to eat it!! lol... just kidding.. we've already eaten soo much of it!! haha

Here she was ready to go to the pumpkin patch!! We got there and it was rainging so hard that we decided to try it again next year:( But Indee was happy either way :)

So Indee really hasnt laughed but Kevin came home from Home Teaching and got this out of her:)...

So Indee is loving to sit up and/or stand! Mostly stand!!! You can tell that she hates being in one spot and is wanting to be everywhere... when we lay her down she always tries soooo hard to sit up. You cant really tell from this picture but she is trying hard to sit up and this is what she is watching!!! She actually really likes watching football!

KIT with our family!!

Indee- Brings the strongest Spirit into our home that I am sooo grateful for! She really teaches me whats really important and I am sooo grateful to Heavenly Father for intrusting us with her!! She is sooo happy and just wants to smile. She always smiles when we are putting her to bed, especially when we go back in to syick her passy in. That makes it hard to not pick her up and snuggle with her. Talk about snuggling... she doesnt really like to do that much with me but LOVES to snuggle with Kevin!!! Its the cutest thing but I wish shed snuggle with me!! :) I am trying to work with her on rolling.. She twists her whole body and almost can roll from her tummy to her back by herself!! She definately scoots her self though. Its funny. I will lay her on one side of the carpet and come back and she is turned around on the other side of the carpet. How she actually got there? I have no idea. She is continuing to chew on her hands and is starting to be able to grasp toys and stick them in her mouth!! She continues to sleep about 8 or 9 hours a night which is really nice! She goes down around 730-8ish and that gives Kevin and I time to hang out for a little bit(when Kevin can be home. She is now in 3 month clothing and growing so much. Alot of people tell me how skinny she is and it makes me feel sooo bad. lol... I want her to pudge up so that I know I am feeding her enough:) But she is super long!!! We love having her in our home sooooo much!

Kevin- IS seriously more busy than ever!! He leaves our home between 6 and 7 am and TRIES to be home by 7pm but sometimes cant until 11pm. Which is hard for me but I am sure its even harder for him!!! He continues to be an amazing dad and husband!!! He is loving football. Their team is doing really well and everyone always comments on how good of a QB he is:) Its sooo fun watching him play!!

Missa- I am just working on XMAS presents when I get a chance. ITs going very slow because when Indee is awake I try and give her all my attention:) Ive been trying to work out when Kevin can come home early from school:) And a sad thing happened!! I ran over my camera!! UGH!!! We are gunna try to buy one at Thanksgiving but that means for a month we wont have a camera to take picture of Indee with:( But this week I am gunna go get her Halloween pictures done. I am really excited and I hope they turn out:)

So she put her hands together and it sooo reminded me of praying hands! Really she was just chewing on them:) You cant tell from the picture but daddy was smiling at her and getting her to smile sooooo big! I love her soooo much:)





PS.. I love her eyes!!! I am sooo surprised that they are the way they are!!! Kevin and I both have dark brown eyes!!

Indee Rae- 12 weeks!!

So before our camera broke I took some pictures!!!

I made Indee some jeans while she was napping... The only jeans she has are too big so I used some jean material I had. But since she was asleep I didnt measure her and they are pretty big. But I put them on her anyways. I tried taking pics of them on her but she was sooooooooooooooooo tired! as you can tell....

I seriously love her eyelashes!!! Everyone always comments on them! Even when we just had her and she was covered in gunk the nurses were like "look at her eyelashes". Kevin and I were like how the heck can they tell how long her eyelashes are.. lol



She will only sleep in her carseat if the carseat is moving (car, shoppingcart). But here she is when we got home from daddy's FB game!

So in the morning I will lay Indee down under her play mat and she always manages to turn herself all the way around. Her head was originally by the elephants nose:)



This is what Indee looks like when she gets into her deep sleep:) I love it!! But what I dont love is that she loves things around her face when she sleeps... What I have to do is put blankets by her cheeks and she will immediately fall asleep... which is nice but then I have to stay awake for a while and wait for her to be in her deep sleep so that I can take the blankets away!!!:)

About us....

Missa... I have been sewing, crocheting... crafting it up over here!! I am sooooo excited bacuase I am doing Christmas presents! They are all gunna be homemade!! and I think that its good homemade stuff... stuff ud normally buy!! So I am wayyy excited...:) I also made Indee's costume (a mermaid in case u couldnt tell from previous pictures). But I am having a blast!!! And I Love my calling! It gives me an excuse to stop by and see the new babies in the ward and to socialize and meet new people. I am on the compassionate service commitee and I am over the new moms/ babies in the ward! So I basically just make sure that they get meals!!! But it has been soo much fun going around to people's apartments and getting to know them! Indee and I are making LOTS of new friends!!:)

Kevin- He is busier than ever!! He is gone for 12+ hourse of the day and when he gets home he doesnt reat but helps me with Indee (he's amazing!!). He plays indoor soccer on Tues and Thurs nights and really likes it:) He is enjoying football ALOT! He is helping me with some of the Christmas gifts (I am too afraid to use his saw) ANd he got me my Birthday present early- Beauty and the Beast- well I actually got it and when he got home I showed him what he got for me! lol

Indee- She is now sleeping at least 8 hours a night (knock on wood) sometimes 10!! Instead of feeding her during the night I will put her passy in. If she still fusses after a few minutes then I will feed her but most of the time she just goes right back to sleep! Its been sooo nice! She is becoming aware of so much more. She just discovered her feet- She sat there for like 15 minutes staring at them and moving them up and down. IT was sooo funny/ cute! She is drooling soo much! I was afraid she was teething but she isnt.. the dr said that her saliva glands are just mturing but boy are they maturing:) The drs also thinks she has acid reflux. She doesnt spit up too much but the dr thinks that it is causing her to hurt which explains the fussiness. Its soo sad though... She SCREAMS after every feeding... Its still so hard for her/us to get those burps out :( She has been colicy the last little while and we did find a supplement that helped but it also gave her hives.. so we nixxed that! But she is soo fun! I love watching her grow and learn!! AWW she is AMAZING!! I still cant wait to have more:)(well I can but I really want more)

Kevin is the most amazing husband and dad!! I am soooo grateful that he chose me to be with forever!! I definately got the better end of the deal:)

So what have we been up to?

Since its getting cold, I made this hat!! I think she looks sooooo cute in it!

And I made her Halloween outfit!!! I dont think this picture shows how cute it is... lol I am proud of myself!! haha

Indee got her first hair cut(shave). So she had all this hair on the sides of her head but not on the top. So we tried to take away the "old man" due but she kept keeping her head up so she still kinda has a mullet.. but thats okay!! We still think she is the cutest:)

So again... I was taking care of Indee and didnt gt the best shots.. but this was Kevin playing football...

KIT with our family!!

Kevin- So the program that allowed Kev to do his MBA and master's together is ending. BYU has decided to get rid of it which means Kevin will now be only doing his Master's for the time being. Im not gunna lie... a part of me is releived that school is now lessened by two years but a part of me is sad because I know how much Kevin wanted to get his MBA out of the way now.

Missa- I am just working on losing my last 10 pounds... but Im not worried about getting it off fast so I am just doing 6 small meals a day of about 3-400 calories and when time permits I will work out... Mostly walks and then when Kev gets time I go running:) But my plan is to do at least a little work out 6 days a week... I just want my pre prego pants to fit like they used to.. who knows if they ever will.. lol

I am already excited to have more babies!! Am I soo nuts??? Kevin thinks so!! lol... we are gunna wait a little bit but I cant wait for Indee to have bros and siss!!

Indee is such a happy baby and loves to smile!! We love and adore her sooooooo much!!! Kevin and I fight over who gets to take her with them at church.. usually he wins since i am with her all week... lol She is sooo much fun!! and we are soo grateful that Heavenly Father sent her to us!!!

Indee Rae... now she's 8 weeks:)

So I was a week ahead of myself last week... Last week Indee was 7 weeks... this week she is 8!!! She had her 2 month check up- 10 lbs 9 ounces(47th %); 24 1/2 inches (98th %); and 15.39 inches for her head (57th %; She got her shots as well!! SOOOO sad!!! She screamed and I teared:( About an hour after I got home I received a phone call from the nurse that had given her the shots telling me that they had given her a wrong vaccine. Instead of giving her her HEP B shot they gave her HEP A!! I was soo upset to say the least. I wasnt mad at anyone but sooooooo upset with the mistake and sooo stressed about what had happened to Indee. I was soo afraid that because she was soo young that she would have bad side affects to the HEP A (they get this shot at 12 months). The next day I called and talked to her doctor and than to another doctor is a different practice to make sure shed be ok. I was reassued that she should be fine! But I was soo upset!!!

On a happier note... Indee hadnt pooped in 3 days!!!! I wasnt too nervous because I know her cousin was the same way. So I just called the doctor to verify that it would be ok and they said it was normal. But guess where she decided to let loose?....

I decided to stay home and watch the Women's General Conference portion because between feeding and changing diapers I just thought it would be easier. And guess who LOVED it.

She was doing her own thing but as soon as President Monson came on the TV she could not take her eyes away!! I LOVED it!!! She loves him!!! :)

This is what Indee looks like everytime it is time to sleep. I dont know what the deal has been the past couple of days but she is not wanting to sleep. Once we can get her to sleep she'll sleep well but getting her to sleep is the hard part... We let her cry and then after a while check her diaper/ put the passy back in and then start again. This will go one for soooo long... alot of the times its been soo long that she gets hungry again! I think she is just sooooo overly tired that she just cant get to sleep!!

Us lately...

Kevin is playing football on his intermural team and its soo fun to see him!! He is way good!! :) But Indee and I went to watch him this past saturday, but she was cranky(naptime) and I totally forgot to take pictures!!! Sorry... I will this Friday!! Kevin is working harder than ever and has no time for just him!! He loves his little girl and if I am doing anything for her he always offers because he wants to do anything he can to spend more time with her.. even if its changing her poopy diaper:)

Kevin and I went on our First real date since Indee was born this last week. Natalie and Christian watched her (a BIG thanks). It was soo nice! It felt weird to be out with just us again! WE went to outback and shared a yummy meal and then went to coldstone(I know I was not supposed to so we got a small size):) It was soooooo nice to go out on a date again!! :)

Indee 8 weeks old

Indee LOVES to smile and we LOVE it soooo much!!! In fact last night Indee was supposed to be going to bed, but the passy fell out so Kevin went in to put it back in. He said that when he went in she kept smiling at him! lol... i have a feeling that when Kevin puts her to bed it will be more of a play time than a night time!! :) But i think its fun that she has soo much fun with her dad Kevin was getting Indee undressed for her bath and this is what she looked like when he handed her to me. We couldnt stop laughing! So we went to Daddy's football game! So of course she had to wear her "I Love Daddy" outfit. But I totally forgot to take pictures of Dad playing football!! ARGH! Indee is getting sooo big and i love it! She is starting to get rolls and when she sleeps she puts her head down to her chest and her cheeks get so big!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!! AWW she is soo stinkin' cute!

Indee loves bath time

Indee loves bath time!! In fact she loves it so much that she cries when we take her out! :) Kevin and I usually give her a bath together... Well one of us will sit there while the other washes Indee and dresses her. We take turns! But its just fun to sit there and talk! But my cousins and Aunt gave us this little bathtub and it works great!!!! We love it!!

Indee- So I know everyone loves Indee most so we will start with her:)She is getting so big! She is so aware of everything around her and never wants to close her eyes in the event that shed miss anything. She now smiles at us when we say "BOO" to her. Before she smiled lots but I think because of gas, but now I know that she is smiling at us:) Thats really fun!! It makes me so happy to see her happy!
She had her first babysitter last Friday for my check-up. It was a "good/I miss her" feeling. I loved being able to sit in the waiting room and read but did miss her soo much. (A BIG Thanks to Aubrey for watching her:)) Can I just say I hate clipping her nails!!! SOOOOOO sad.... I pinched her skin. It didnt break her skin but she screamed and got such a sad face that I couldnt help but cry. When Kevin came home I told him and he laughed that I cried :) And sad again... Indee has been colic. We tried gas drops and nothing. So I stopped eating chocolate and dairy. She has been a ton better. Her tummy seems to be feeling better and she can burp a little better. But that week was sooo sad. She would just scream in pain and wake up screaming. The only way she would sleep is if she laid her tummy on our tummies (which made for a really tiring next day). So last night i tried to put Indee down so that Kev could get ready for bed. Kevin usually does this for me while I get a little break. So yea, last night I try putting her to bed thinking for sure I can do it because I put her down for all her naps!! She would not go to sleep until Kevin came in, laid her down, and gave her her goodnight kiss!!! lol... she sure loves her daddy! I love that she knows us and wants to be with us! :)

Kevin- He has such a big load this semester! He is taking 5 classes, working, and he just signed up for a football intermural team. Indee and I are excited to be his cheerleaders!! I am soooo grateful for the hardwork he does for our family and for how happy he makes Indee and I feel. He seriously is sooo amazing! He is constantly helping me with everything around the house and always helps me in the middle of the night with Indee. He always comes home and immediately is wanting to play with his family! I couldnt have asked for a better husband and a better dad for Indee.

Missa- So Im just hanging out with Indee! Nothing new! I have started to work out again and I never knew that working out would be soo difficult. I went running and did sit ups... I felt like I had never worked out a day in my life! Holy cow... who would have though that giving birth would mess you up that much? lol- not me! but yea.. so i have started to work out. Sometimes I run with Indee but its sooo much easier to wait til Kev gets home and go running then! Push ups? yea... I can barely do them! WOW- I have a long ways to go!!! :) BUt thats all Ive been up to!

We are having fun up here in Utah but cant wait until Christmas when we get to go back to California for a little bit! We love and miss everyone!!!!
