So Fun.... California!!!

So we went home to California a couple weeks ago and I am just now getting pictures up. Sorry!

We stopped by Laughlin, NV to hang out with my family. We layed out, went jet skiing, ATE!! and just had a ton of fun!!

Here are my neice and nephews being silly at breakfast! Arent they the cutest kids!?! Im lucky.. all the kids in my family are soo stinking cute so I hope that means ours will be too! :)

Then... We went camping at the beach!! So much fun!!
Kevin was the chef! We had bacon, eggs, potatos! YAY Introducing my hott chef!! Sry ladies... He's all mine!

After one wave, he decided to come in. The waves were reaching 20 ft and since it has been a while since Kevin rode at the wedge he decided to play it safe! I was glad!

California was soo much fun!!! I hope Kevin finds a good job there so that we can move back after school!!

Upon Robin's Request- 4 stitches and a concussion

So last night Kevin planned a dinner/ picnic date. So I got home from work and he had everything ready. We went to the park and ate. Then after we took out our airsoft guns and started playing with eachother a little bit. I shot Kevin and he was going to shoot me back so I closed my eyes, turned around, and then started running. Not a very good idea. I ran into a pole getting the concussion and my glasses tore out a chunk of my face. I didnt see see my face but Kevin just said we need to go to the ER. So I got a C.A.T scan and 4 stitches to close the hole up. It's right on the corner of my left eye. I was lucky that I didnt hurt my eyeball!

But Kevin was soo good. He didnt even laugh! Well not till I was all stitched up and better. I know that had I seen someone run straight into a pole I would have had a hard time not laughing. I think it would have been impossible for me. He kept me awake in the ER cuz I just wanted to close my eyes and stood by me holding my hand. It was a little scary for me cuz i havent had stitches since I was 3 and the whole having to get shots right by my eye didnt help. My dr. was young and thought it was funny when he was saying "ok come here and scoot closer to the needle" He even asked if I wanted to have it stiched up as an initial. He and Kevin thought it was pretty funny.

Kevin dedicated a song to me (after I was better). "Boom, Boom, Pow" by Blackeyed Peas. When he sang me that part he even acted it out. He pretended he was shooting the airsoft guns ("boom boom") and pretended he hit a pole ("pow"). I couldnt stop laughing. It was pretty funny. Im even cracking up right now.So it just hurts to make facial expressions (even smiling, and now I cant roll my eyes at Kevin lol), my head still hurts, I feel a little sick and I am still kinda dizzy. The Dr. said I can feel this way for a week. But I cant work out at all or do anything involving too much movement for a week. Shucks.. I cant workout- Dr's orders!!

Im just dreading the ER bill....

In the picture it looks like i have bags under my eyes but I dont. It's the swelling. I wouldnt let Kevin take a picture of my full so that you can tell the difference of the two sides. Sry.. the no make up and stitched thing is to gross! so heres an eye...

Tuconos!!!

So Tucono's, a Brazilian resturaunt, gives out free Birthday dinners... So we used our coupon for a date!! When they came to sing to Kevin they made him dance and he did!!! He did the butt dance!! and everyone was smiling and laughing!!! Im soo glad I have an outgoing husband.. hes soo fun!!!

The big 2-5!!!

So Kevin is turning 25 on Monday, but because we are both so busy during the week we celebrated his Birthday yesterday. We started by eating yummy, homemade, whole-wheat cinnamon rolls and ommelettes! Then We went golfing!! It was my very first time out on the course!!! It was actually fun and I am sore today!! haha! towards the end I got a lil tired because I wanted to walk instead of getting a cart (wanted to burn those cinnamon rolls off). Bad idea.. I was soo tired and sitting down on the grass while I waited for my turn!

So I always plan stuff to do on his birthday and I never know if he actually really likes it! So I told him Id do whatever he wants to do. I thought we were going to go eat at Golden Coral like he said! But, when I got home I had a new dress laying out that Kevin bought and he took me on a surprise dinner date for HIS Birthday. We ended up here...

It was gorgeous and so romantic with beautiful piano music playing.

It was such a great night!! My husband is the most selfless person!! For his birthday he decided to treat me. Thats not at all what I had in mind but I loved it!!! I am soo grateful for his love, support and hard work!! He is the most amazing person and I am soo excited to be able to share forever with him!!

Our Date...

So Kevin is on a couple day school break!! YAY!! So we splurged!! Saturday we went to a yucky all you can eat sushi bar for lunch!! Eww!! Kevin was such a trooper.. I love sushi and Kevin hates it, but at this place no me gusta either!! Ugh!!

So for our dinner date we bought "50 first dates." Its such a funny movie but I forgot how crude it was. We will probably throw it away. Too bad they have to make good movies bad by throwing stupid stuff in!! But to make up for our lunch date we got one of Kevin's faves Dominos; the whole works: hot wings, cinna sticks, cheese bread, a supreme pizza and Hawaiin pizza(I dont like sausage). It was a great day!! To finish off his break I am gunna try to get him to go to yoga with me tomorrow before I go to work!! I dont want to go by myself and I dont know anyone else who goes to the same gym I do. LOL Wish me luck!!

He starts school back up Tuesday!!

Oh Kevin...

Vacation?!?!

I have the best husband!!!

So I have been sick... Yesterday morning Kevin sat with me in urgent care for 3 1/2 hours. He had to hurry off to study so I dropped him off at school and when I picked him up he was holding this!! It was soo nice. Then I got super bored so we logged into my sister's facebook and changed her profile picture!! It was fun!!It's not very professional but it gave us a good laugh. A laugh I really needed!

The medicine the Dr. gave me makes me super droopy and tired!! It's nuts!! HAHA But Im soooooooo bored! I hate laying down all day. Ugh!!

Our spur of the moment splurge:)

Our newestspur of the moment buy. We were shopping at Wal-Mart and then we started hiding and throwing balls at eachother. Then we walked past these!! Soo.... ... We played a little bit and have welts to prove it but it didnt photograph very well.

We cant wait to play and have fun!!!

My parents came to visit!

My parents came up to visit. We had lots of fun! We went out to eat lots which was way fun!

They were originally coming up to take us snowboarding but I ended up having work and Kevin
still has to wait till next winter due to his knee surgery!

We went to the open house of the Draper Temple!! It was soo pretty!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day was fun and we were keeping it simple, meaning NO gifts!! So I just got Kevin a bouquet of donuts! (He was complaining that guys never get boquets of flowers so instead of flowers I gave him a boquet of Krispy Cream donuts)

But when I got back this was sitting on our table! Kevin was like " Did Santa come?", cuz he knew he was in trouble! In the box were these...Kevin doesn't like that I wear my sandals in the snow and ice cuz I am always falling!

After we went to Tacano's. It's a great all you can eat Brazillion Resturaunt.The servers come around with meat (filet mignon, shrimp, all kinds of steaks, chicken, grilled pineapple, etc.) and then they cut off peices at your table!!

Strongly recommend it!

Then we went to Rock Canyon cuz I heard there was sledding there but it turns out there was nowhere to sled:(

Stressed

Okay so this is definately a venting post!! :) Okay so working 52- 60 hours a week is so not fun!! i have no time to cook, clean, or workout! And kevin has it even worse! He leaves to school at 7am and comes home between 11- 430 am!! thats right 430!!!! the other day he had a homework assignment that was due and it took foreverhe started the assignment at noon and didnt get home till 430!! He was stuck at school doing it!! And the sad thing is ... When i went to visit him at 1230am he was the furthest one done in that whole lab!!! This major is soo intense!!! But he did finish so thats a plus! Its just so hard never seeing him!! i am going a little nuts!! lol.. But I know prayers are answered and I just need to have a little more faith! But i saw a great talk on byu tv today... It was Elder Holland and he was saying how hard it was for him and his wife and how they had no money and wanted to go home all the time because it was so hard to make it work (amen to that). He just gave great words of encouragement!! That talk was definately made for me!!! :) If anyone wants to hear the talk go to http://speeches.byu.edu/?act=viewitem&id=1819&tid=2 . I just have to remember how blessed we are to have Kevin attend this amazing school!!

BYU vs SDSU

So we went to see my little sister's boyfriend's basketball team (SDSU) play BYU.

He is the one in the middle with black sleeves with a white middle and a mowhawk:)

We got amazing seats. Front row and almost center! Guess who we saw?

Elder Oaks!!!They walked right in front of us!!! Like literally less than a foot away from us!

So of course we shoved our hands in front of them and made them shake our hands!

They are so nice! Truely men of God!

Build A Bear

We went to Build A Bear Workshop for a date!! I told Kevin if I got my new job then I wanted to go! I got the job so here we are!!

Kevin loved the Highschool Musical outfits. Actually he really didnt!!

Kevin picked out the name! With his name choosing skills he will never choose our children's names. lol It was so fun and I am so grateful for Kevin and him putting up with these "fun" dates!!!

Keeping In Touch

So I have two jobs and am busy working 53 hours a week now. But I am so excited cuz now we can pay for Kevin's school!! Kevin is starting another semester and focusing on getting into the engineering college! We are having fun but it is soo freezing and the roads are so icy. But the snow is beautiful!! We hope everyone at home is doing great. We love you all and miss you.

Best Christmas!!

This was the best Christmas because we got to see Kirsten and Torben!! I have missed them soooo much but it is great that they are with their parents:)!! We are soo excited that they are doing so good!! Kirsten couldn't stop talking and I loved it!.. telling me how well she is doing at school and about all her friends. Torben was soo funny... when we walked in he stopped with a huge smile and said " Whoa, How did you get here?" They are soo cute and I am so grateful for the oppurtunity that Kevin and I had to have them in our home. They taught us so much and we love them!! And it was great cuz we got to see the rest of our family of course!! :)
